Practice Area: Corporate - M&A, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 7 Years, A law firm in Los Angeles is seeking a Mergers and Acquisitions Resource Attorney with 7+ years of experience in a US MA corporate/transactional practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various duties related to deal input, document preparation, knowledge management, legal education, and marketing support within the MA practice group. The Mergers and Acquisitions Resource Attorney will play a crucial role in supporting the firm's MA practice group by assisting with deal input, document preparation, knowledge management, legal education, and marketing efforts. This role requires strong expertise in MA transactions, excellent drafting and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. Duties:Input deal terms from signed firm deals into the Transaction Database and coordinate with the knowledge management team to maintain the databasePrepare drafts or revise existing precedent template documents for the MA groupCurate and organize the MA group's forms, precedents, and other know-howMonitor legal and regulatory developments relative to MA practice and prepare summaries and alertsCoordinate with the legal education team to brainstorm content for associate trainings and firmwide training efforts related to MACollaborate with the MA marketing team to strategize on MA promotion, assist with content creation for pitches and teach-insAssist attorneys with day-to-day requests for precedents, templates, and other resourcesBe involved in resource, knowledge management, and practice innovation projects Requirements:Licensed attorney7+ years of experience in a US MA corporate/transactional practiceBasic understanding of public and private MA, corporate governance, board fiduciary duties, and market trends Skills:Strong drafting and organizational skillsAbility to handle multiple ongoing projects and coordinate with attorneys and stakeholdersTransferable skill from associate experience with MA transactions, both public and private Benefits offered:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceHealth savings account (with applicable medical plan)Health and/or dependent care flexible spending accountsPre-tax commuter benefitsLife insurance, ADD, and long-term care coverageBackup care for children and/or adultsAccruing vacation time, sick time, and paid holidays
