POSITION DUTIES -Greet clients in professional, friendly manner, and select the appropriate customized service based on the clients needs after reviewing the client intake form and listening to each client -Complete accurate and legible client intake/SOAP notes -Perform 30, 60, 90 minute Massage Sessions within the scope of training and utilizing draping protocols -Safeguard client information and confidentiality -Execute professional boundaries and does not engage in dual relationships with clients -Promote the health and wellness benefits of massage specific to each client and recommend frequency -Obtain Sales of Massage Sessions, Packages, & Gift items -Create an excellent experience for clients through a therapeutic touch and friendly attitude -Maintain a professional clean appearance of self by wearing clean and pressed scrubs, following the table dressing & draping protocols and keeping the therapy room and facility clean THERAPIST REQUIREMENTS -Strong knowledge of Swedish Massage & Deep Tissue Massage -Experience working with clients -Customer service oriented -Ability to perform firm to deep work -Ability to communicate effectively with clients, co-workers, and owner -Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual -Ability to recommend frequency of massage to every client -Night and some weekend work required - *Needing to fill M-W-F evenings* -Must be willing to hold on call hours at least once or twice a week -Additional training in therapeutic modalities is preferred -Must complete 600+hours & present state Certificate & Insurance -Already have or in process of obtaining a MI State Massage License -Willingness to learn and the intention of acquiring further training
