Electrical Technician Needed

Aerotek has partnered with a defense contractor who has a need for a Electrical Technician to assist with the installation of Electronic Security Systems (ESS) at a local corporate facility in Kodiak. The contract is scheduled to start 10/29 and last 2-4 weeks. Please see required qualifications listed below: $25-$35/hour based on experience - Must be self motivated and able to meet deadlines. The contractor will be solely responsible for the installation. - Need to be able to pull/terminate wires and run conduit - Must be able to hit the ground running, work independently and diligently to ensure the project s on time completion - Plan, install, monitor and test security system equipment including cabling, devices, alarms, CCTV, access control - Maintain and update working diagrams of installations. - Troubleshoot any post-installation issues. - Determine pass/fail criteria of equipment as prescribed in technical manuals. - Must have an understanding of low voltage and/or gate automation - Ability to gain military base access
