Manager is critical to maintaining and improving the achievements of excellent the organization has enjoyed. You will lead, plan and develop maintenance mechanics, contractors, and supervisors in a 24x7 shop. If you thrive to work in a fast paced, collaborating with all levels of management, understand the value of leadership and have a track record of proven leadership in a manufacturing environment, this opportunity is right for you. Proximity to numerous state parks, natural resources, resorts, hunting, fishing, hiking. Great school systems and low crime. 1 Hour from Virginia Tech / 1:45 minutes from Roanoke, VA. Background Profile BA/BS in Engineering or related field. Masters strongly preferred Minimum of 7 to 10 years of facilities, maintenance and Utilities leadership experience (steam distribution, low and high voltage electrical, pipefitting, sheet metal fabrication, HVAC, Water Treatment etc. Track record of establishing predicative / preventative maintenance programs. Project management experience in managing contractors, new constructions, planned systems overhaul, etc. Provides leadership to technicians, planners, mechanics with strong emphasis on training and development. Strong skills in reading and interpreting schematics, drawings, blueprints. Budgeting, cost estimating and fiscal management principles Knowledge of federal, state, local codes and ordinances pertinent to facilities planning, design, construction and maintenance (including OSHA Compliance) is desired.
