Practice Area: Antitrust and Competition - Mergers and Acquisitions (Corporate),Antitrust and Competition - General, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 4 Years, A law firm in Washington, DC, is seeking a Mid-Level Mergers And Acquisitions/HSR Antitrust Associate Attorney.Job Overview:The ideal candidate will participate in all aspects of the practice, taking on significant responsibility across various complex and fascinating matters.Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis related to mergers and acquisitions, HSR, and antitrust matters.Draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and memoranda.Assist in due diligence investigations and compliance reviews.Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop strategies and provide counsel to clients.Represent clients in negotiations, meetings, and hearings.Requirements:4-6 years of relevant experience in mergers and acquisitions, HSR, merger compliance, and transactional counseling.Deep industry knowledge and understanding of Antitrust matters.Prior experience in a leading law firm or relevant government agency.Strong work ethic paired with excellent leadership skills.Commitment to delivering top-notch client service.Outstanding oral and written communication skills.Excellent academic credentials.Bar admission in Washington, DC, or the ability to waive in required.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Bar admission in Washington, DC, or waiving ability is required.Skills:Legal research and analysis.Drafting legal documents.Due diligence investigations.Negotiation and communication.Client counseling and service.Leadership and teamwork.Job Location:Washington, DCBenefits offered:Discretionary bonus.Health/welfare benefits (including parental, adoption, and fertility benefits).Flexible time off.Paid holidays.
