Learn from our expert Engineering team while gaining valuable real-world experience in a highly automated and complex pet food manufacturing facility. Whether your focus is mechanical, process, electrical and/or project engineering, this internship will challenge you to expand your skillset and make a genuine impact. Prepare specifications and develop bid scopes for contractorsDevelop estimates and source equipment for projectsCreate design solutions to address areas of opportunity in accordance with engineering standards pertaining to safety, sanitation and production impactAssist in supervising contractors and maintenance personnel on capital upgrades and projectsContribute to team effort by engaging in Nestl Continuous Excellence (NCE) activities to drive resultsEngage in a safe and healthy work environmentRequirementsMust be a college student of Engineering who is preferably entering senior year in the fall of 2024Must be available to sustain up to a one-year internship commitment (spring 2024to spring 2025)Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week on-site at the Flagstaff manufacturing facilityOtherExperience with AutoCAD is preferred but not requiredREQUISITION ID 282565It is our business imperative to remain a very inclusive workplace.To our veterans and separated service members, you're at the forefront of our minds as we recruit top talent to join Nestl.
