Position Summary: MILVETS Systems Technology, Inc. is currently seeking a full time Personal Computer Support Technician (SECRET CLEARANCE). The Personal Computer Support Technician will be supporting the government at Carlisle Barracks, PA Responsibilities: Provide helpdesk support for the Network Enterprise Center (NEC) classified and unclassified communication systems. Support and operate the Service Desk, for both telephone information technology and visual information systems support, receiving and responding to all requests for assistance in a DoD environment. Open trouble tickets or service orders in the trouble ticket ITSM/REMEDY for all trouble and service requests received and provide immediate troubleshooting and problem resolution for IT trouble tickets. Determine the proper section and forward trouble tickets to the appropriate work center or branch for fault isolation and problem resolution. This position provides technical support for the installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of personal computers and related systems including peripheral devices. Performs installations, upgrades, and backups of software and hardware applications. Determine the method and procedure for resolving routine software and hardware failures. May identify network issues that relate to personal computers. Provides technical information, prioritizes, and determines appropriate action on routine request from all levels of employees. Prepare and maintains various electronic and hard copy reports and logs. 100% on site position. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience Qualifications: High School Diploma Certifications: Must maintain IAT Level 1 certification (Such as CompTIA A+ or Net+) Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an Active United States Department of Defense Secret clearance is required. _______________________________________________________ Applicants for U.S. based positions with MILVETS Systems Technology, Inc. must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
