Job Title: Welder/InstallerLocation: NashvilleJob Type: Full-timeJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder/Installer to join our team. As a Welder/Installer, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and installing various metal components according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques and be capable of working independently as well as part of a team. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic company and contribute to the successful completion of our projects.Responsibilities:Perform various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, and stick welding) to join metal componentsFabricate metal structures, frames, and supports using appropriate tools and equipmentMeasure, cut, and shape metal components to fit specific requirementsInspect welds for accuracy and quality, making necessary adjustments as neededInstall fabricated components according to project plans and specificationsCollaborate with team members and project managers to ensure project deadlines are metAdhere to safety protocols and regulations at all timesRequirements:Valid Driver's LicenseProficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick weldingAbility to interpret and work from engineering drawings and blueprintsExperience with metal fabrication tools and equipment (grinders, saws, shears, etc.)Strong attention to detail and accuracy in welding and installation processesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication skills and ability to follow instructionsPhysical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy materials and operate machinery safelyKnowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to welding and installationLeather Boots or Steel ToeDrug ScreenPreferred Qualifications:Welding certification(s) from recognized institutionsExperience working in a construction or manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., AWS, ASME)Previous experience with installation projectsNote: The job description outlined above is a general overview and may not include all the tasks and responsibilities required for this position.
