OPEN POSITION: Physician - Primary CareSCHEDULE: - Part-Time (2 or 3 Days per Week)- Full-Time (4 or 5 Days per Week)- Monday to Friday- No Weekends- No Evenings- Minimal On-Call- Flexible OptionsCLINIC HOURS:- Monday to Friday- 8:00am to 4:00pmCOMPENSATION:- $200,000 to $250,000+ Base Salary, dependent upon experience- Partnership Option- Malpractice Insurance- Health / Dental / Vision Insurance- Paid Time Off Package- License / DEA Fees- CME Allowance + Paid Time Off- IRA Plan- Full Details NegotiableLOCATION: Suffield, ConnecticutCOMPANY PROFILE: This private practice has been providing a full scope of primary care services to patients in the Suffield area for more than 40 years. They currently employ 2 physicians and 3 advanced practice providers, along with a robust support staff of clinical and administrative team members. In addition to their traditional weekday clinic operations, they also offer a medical walk-in facility that’s open on the weekends and where they see patients for urgent medical care. They have on-site x-ray, phlebotomy, and lab services. They are hiring due to the upcoming retirement of a long-tenured physician.POSITION DESCRIPTION: This is a standard outpatient primary care role, in which the physician will be responsible for overall provision of care to patients.The current patient base is 95% ages 18 and up. If the new provider would like to expand the pediatric patient population, the practice is happy to accommodate that.The practice is open to a part-time schedule of 2 or 3 days per week or a full-time schedule of 4 or 5 days per week. The majority of current providers work a 4-day schedule. Duties of the role include, but are not limited to:- patient evaluations- physical assessments- patient education- chronic disease management- preventative medicine- medication management- specialist referralsThe clinic has on-site x-ray, phlebotomy, and lab services.Providers see an average of 18 to 24 patients per day, with a dedicated clinical support staff.The practice uses Epic.On-call duties are 1 night per week.
