Position Details: This program reports to the Department Chairman, and is a part of the Public Services & Industrial Technology division. Responsibilities: This position has the responsibility of teaching in the Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) Technology program. Specific duties include providing instruction/training in a lab setting. Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of an associate’s degree plus appropriate work experience is required. Computer skills to include Microsoft Office is necessary. Experience with instrumentation and electrical installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of instruments and control systems is required. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to interact with a diverse, multicultural student population. Applicants must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a demonstrated commitment to the community college philosophy of education. Salary Range & Fringe Benefits: Salary for adjunct faculty members is based upon level of education and range from $1,700 per 3-hour course for an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree to $2,000 per 3-hour course for a doctorate.
