Term of App't: Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week Start date: Immediately Reporting to: Vice President of Community Relations & Institutional Strategy Salary/Benefits: Excluded position: Grid 14, $103,214.00 - $137,618.00 annually, depending on experience and qualifications as per NLC's Excluded Salary Scale. An excellent benefit package is offered, including extended health and dental benefits. Annual vacation is pro-rated and front-loaded, based on 210 hours/FTE, as well as time off paid for the period between Christmas and New Year's Day. Contributions to the College Pension Plan are mandatory for all full-time excluded staff. Description: Reporting to the Vice President of Community Relations & Institutional Strategy, the Director of Marketing, Communications is the primary strategist for the College's communications, marketing, including brand and image management. The position is responsible for internal and external communications, marketing, advertising and promotional materials, media relations, government relations, public relations, and issues management. The ideal candidate is a collaborator, facilitator, and administrator working across the institution with faculty, staff, students, and community partners. Qualifications: A post-secondary degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related area of study is preferred. In addition, two years' supervisory experience and five years' experience in the post-secondary sector are required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Do you have experience dealing with a broad customer base and producing quality marketing and/or promotional material?
