We are currently seeking experienced ASSISTANT MANAGERS for our restaurants in central Illinois. The BURGER KING ASSISTANT MANAGER is responsible for leading and motivating the restaurant team in a Burger King restaurant to achieve the high levels of customer service satisfaction. The Assistant Manager ensures that each visit by a customer results in friendly service and great food in a clean and inviting environment. In addition, she/he manages all aspects of the daily operations of a restaurant to maximize sales, profits and a positive customer experience.Responsibilities:- Supervises, trains, motivates and leads employees to maintain enthusiastic customer service and ensure orders are taken in a prompt, accurate and courteous manner. - Supervises Crew Members in the preparation of menu items, cleaning and maintenance of equipment and facilities ensure compliance with Company standards. - Takes inventory of stock during shift to determine use versus sold- Assists store manager in training and enforcing policies and procedures regarding food safety, appearance, customer service, suggested selling techniques and sanitation are followed.Qualifications:+ One year of management experience, preferably from a restaurant or retail environment+ The ability to train, guide and lead Crew Members+ The ability to work with a high degree of independence and discretion+ The ability to work flexible hours+ The ability to work well under pressure+ Good written, verbal, math and interpersonal skills+ A high school diploma or GED required+ Valid driver's license with reliable transportationExcellent Employee Benefits and Opportunity!
