Title: Certified Medication Technician Shift: Days 6:00 am - 6:00 pm Status: Full-Time Department: Nursing It is the dedication, skill & compassion of our extraordinary employees who allow us to live out our mission every day. The Certified Med Tech is responsible for administering medications as prescribed by the resident's physician and documenting the administration, the medication effectiveness and any noted adverse actions or side effects of the medications while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws, regulatory and organizational standards. Requirements for Certified Med Tech: Requires a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) Licenses / certifications required Required Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) who has successfully completed a training program approved by the Commonwealth of Kentucky for medication administration, has an acceptable score on the written and clinical examinations and has received certification as Medication Aid Prefer 1 or more years' experience in a long-term health care setting Benefits offered by Christian Care Communities: Competitive Pay - NEW Updated Compensation, Shift Differentials & Referral Bonuses!
