An RN: Registered Nurse is responsible for demonstrating knowledge and application of job duties within scope of practice and functions under the direction of the Director of Nursing; supervises nursing activities and provides direct nursing care during assigned duty hours; participates in unit activities, promotes independence, encourages socialization, and advocates for the quality of life of our residents while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws, regulatory and organizational standards. Requirements for an RN: Registered Nurse: Associates degree in nursing from an accredited college or university Bachelors' degree in nursing from an accredited college or university preferred 1 year experience as an RN in a hospital or long term care setting 6 months' experience in a rehabilitative and restorative nursing practice preferred Licensed in the Commonwealth of Kentucky as a RN; Certified Wound Care Nurse or ability to become certified within 6 months of employment Working knowledge of various software programs such as Microsoft Office products including, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Christian Care Communities, Inc. is strongly committed to the principle of diversity and providing an equal employment opportunity in all terms and conditions of employment.
