POSITION SUMMARY The Health & Safety Inspector is responsible for facilitating compliance with OSHA regulations and ensuring a safe work environment with safe work practices. Key functions include: Develop and implement a Health & Safety Program with policies for, but not limited to, hazards, PPE, maintenance, inspection, and investigation. Conduct safety inspections, prepare written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective or preventative measures, and follow up to ensure measures have been implemented. Conduct post-incident investigations to determine cause, if it could have been prevented, and if training was provided. Prepare and conduct monthly and annual safety training for employees. Responsible for maintaining and ensuring Material Data Safety Sheets. Develop and implement an Emergency Action Plan. QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED required. 2-3 years health and safety related experience in a manufacturing facility. OSHA 10 or 30 hour certification preferred. Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain priorities with minimal supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills to use MicroSoft Office Suite. WORK SCHEDULE This full-time position works regular business hours Monday - Friday . Weekends are your to enjoy.
