Position Description Title: Treasury Manager Department: Treasury Immediate Supervisor: VP, Treasury Status: Salary Exempt Position Purpose: Collaborate with the Treasury organization on internal and cross functional projects in the areas of Capital Structure, Debt Financing, Working Capital Management, Financial Risk Management, Shared Services Automation and Others Principle Accountabilities Monitor capital structure of IPG and its subsidiaries including short term and long term liquidity needs; Propose short term and long term funding solutions including debt or equity and execute decisions made; Participate in Long Term Capital Structure Decisions; Monitor leverage ratios and ensure Covenant Compliance; Prepare board presentations recommending capital structure proposals Lead Financial Risk Management Committee meetings; Investigate instruments that will allow the company to minimize its exposure to price fluctuations of certain commodities, foreign exchange and interest rates, and develop and execute overall hedging strategy Monitor overall liquidity and cash position for various IPG domestic and international operations; Manage internal and external cash transfers; Understand full life cycle of cash generation and cash payment activities; Explore and execute solutions to minimize inefficiencies in Treasury operations; Develop an understand of key working capital metrics and drive projects to general incremental cash flow by tightening working capital across organization Engage with Rating Agencies to communicate IPG's story to them; prepare Rating Agency presentations as required Analyze Cash Flow trends and develop short term and long-term cash forecasts on a direct and indirect basis; forecast interest expense for a rolling time period spanning several years in the future Provide Accounting Support for Treasury transactions including Credit Facility, Senior Notes, and Derivatives ; prepare various sections of external financials, including MD&A with respect to treasury transactions (for example, Interest and Financial Expenses, Cash and Loan Availability, Debt, Liquidity, Derivatives and Financial Risk Management) Coordinate with Internal Functions (Accounting, Shared Services, IT, Tax, Legal, Procurement, Supply Chain) to build a best in class Treasury department, Lead automation projects for Treasury and Shared Services activities with a view to benefiting the entire organization Execute special projects assigned by VP, Treasury Essential Skills and Experience BS Degree with emphasis in Accounting or Finance MBA, CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred Keen to enhance Treasury knowledge by pursuing certifications such as CTP or CFA International Treasury, Cash Management and Capital Markets experience Familiarity with Interest Rate Swaps and Foreign Exchange Derivatives Familiarity with Contractual Negotiations including Credit Agreements, ISDA, and Intercompany Loans Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal, written communication and presentation skills Advanced Excel / Access skills including working with large data sets and pivot tables, proficiency in PowerPoint and Word, and familiarity with general ledger, financial reporting systems, and online banking systems Ability to work independently and in a high-paced team environment Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with an ability to multi-task and manage priorities Must demonstrate a history of strong and consistent attention to detail as well as excellent organizational skills Job Posted by ApplicantPro
