Position: Quality Engineer Location: Cerritos, CA Quality Engineer The Quality Engineer performs the engineering and design review of IT projects. This role ensures that projects meet all client requirements, ISO/AS regulations, and industry standards. Experience with IT rack integration is a plus. Job Requirements Provide quality and engineering support to GST projects. Review client requirements. Ensure that projects meet client requirements, ISO/AS regulations, and IT industry standards. Review and comment on viability of design as required; conduct value engineering functions. Research and resolve drawing interpretations, project issues, conflicts, and/or errors. Perform regular site visits to assess compliance with design, drawings and specifications, and applicable codes and regulation. Assists in review of submittal procedures and responses to RFP/RFQ. Capture field mark ups and assist with generating as-built drawings sets for the final design package. Provide any other related job services and duties. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar or equivalent position involved in project. Experience with ISO- or AS- requirements. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and make suggestions as needed. Strong multitasking, organizational skills, and customer services. Flexibility with travel requirements & overtime as necessary.
