Accounts Payable Associate Full Time S J Louis Construction has an immediate opening for a Full Time Accounts Payable Associate. When joining our team, you will be an integral part of leading in-house processing of our Accounts Payable in a fast-paced atmosphere. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual who enjoys continuous learning and growth opportunities. Our dynamic organization employs over 350 people and operates in multiple states with a long-established reputation as a leading general contractor specializing in underground utility, tunneling and earthwork services. We are located just a few minutes SW of the St. Cloud area Responsibilities: Process i nvo i ces i n an accurate and time l y manne r to include match i ng, batching, cod i ng and data entry to ensure costs are recorded correctly Communicate with other departments and management to confirm purchase approvals or resolve issues Research and resolve payable issues with vendors Review and process monthly credit card transactions Reconcile vendor statements on a monthly basis Review accounts payable entries for accuracy as needed Ensure i nvo i ces are paid i n a time l y manner Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications 2-year degree in Accounting or 2+ years of Accounts P ayable experience preferred Detail oriented and ability to work under deadlines. Demonstrated experiences of performing functions efficiently and accurately with l ittle direct supervision Abi l i ty to develop positive working relat i onships and communicate effectively w i th vendors, employees, and internal customers High degree of i ntegrity and discretion i n safeguarding confidential i nformation Experience with Excel, Word and Outlook is required We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, an energized work environment, and a great team of friendly professional employees.
