CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATOR The role of Construction Administrator supports the Construction Field Representatives as well as the day-to-day needs of the internal architecture & design staff in our dynamic, progressive and highly sustainable full-service Architecture firm. Duties may vary depending upon workload and demand, but will regularly include the following: Supporting Construction Field Representatives on a wide variety of sizes and types of construction projects developed by in-house design teams. Primary duty is to administer and drive the processing of paperwork associated with executing these construction projects. Interaction and cooperation with numerous construction company representatives, design staff and engineering consultants on concurrent construction projects. Gathering and organizing information to process Requests for Information (RFI's), Proposal Requests, Construction Change Directives, Pay Applications, punch lists and any data entry needs. Tracking, logging and expediting the receipt and approval/rejection of submittals with in-house and consultant design team via electronic submittals (FTP sites, Procore, OAKS) Tracking Construction Budgets, categorizing change orders, and providing financial reports to Management. Coordination and distribution of all Owner's manuals and other Closeout documents for processing at project completion. Assisting the design and construction staff on all other projects as needed. Desired Skills and Experience The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel OAKS experience a plus Excellent time management and organizational skills Attention to detail Experience in the Construction Industry very helpful, but not required.
