Engineering Systems Project Engineer SUMMARY: FNA Group is a world class manufacturer of pressure washers and other outdoor power equipment. With over 1 million square feet of production space across 4 locations, we continue to grow our business and our family. We are currently seeking an Engineering Systems Project Engineer who is energetic, can multi-task and problem solve, and has the drive and motivation to learn and grow in a fast-paced setting in an expanding business. Primary Purpose: The Engineering Systems Project Engineer develops and implements computer tools, software, standardized modeling practices and related workflows . This role coordinates the efforts of multiple departments and vendors with the aim of integrating systems and data to improve accuracy, consistency and efficiency. Essential Duties: Develops and maintains a roadmap of systems integration and process improvement projects. Researches, reviews and recommends software, integration with other systems and best practices. Coordinate projects through all phases; indirectly managing personnel to meet deadlines and objectives. Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities and resolving problems. Coordinates with IT, purchasing, vendors, and others as needed to schedule work required to meet project schedules. Provides training and issue resolution as new processes or systems are brought on line. Coaches others on engineering software and related best practices. Maintains engineering systems such as PDM to ensure integrity of engineering data. Leads and/or participates in various process improvement initiatives with the engineering and manufacturing groups. Provides engineering support such as checking drawings, modeling, etc. as required to support the above initiatives. Contributes to team effort. Other responsibilities to be assigned. Qualifications: Experience with portable power equipment such as pressure washers and generators. Experience in mechanical design and development. Expert level understanding of SolidWorks and PDM. Experience in ERP systems. Proven ability to express points to senior management team with confidence. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment - strong ability to multitask complex projects efficiently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong work ethic, ability to work collaboratively, energetic and goal oriented. Education and Experience Bachelors' degree in mechanical engineering is preferred. 5+ years previous experience in a related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
