Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Essential duties and frequency will vary from project to project depending on needs and staffing. Below is a common list of duties that may, or may not, need to be performed by an Estimator for Flournoy Construction Group. The Chief Estimator will assign duties and frequency based on the needs of each individual project. Prepare estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work. Plays vital part with the team for estimating effort relevant to particular project scope assigned. Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimate Interface with estimating team to provide engineering and cost data regarding project feasibility. Follow awarded contracts as assigned. May include estimating extra work items, change orders, credits, procuring material, etc. Perform additional assignments per Chief Estimator's direction. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
