Description:
The Senior Associate of Business Development is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day oversight, supervision, and management of the Business Development initiatives at the bank. The core responsibilities not only include sourcing new potential strategic partners, risk management and relationship support, but also includes ongoing reviews of internal bank processes to enhance and expand the bank. The Senior Associate reports directly to the Chief Business Development Officer.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Primary point of contact and relationship manager for potential Strategic Partners Hold introductory meetings to discuss bank opportunities; identify client needs and evaluate alternative business solutions Work with the potential Strategic Partners to define solutions to problems and develop new revenue streams for the bank. Review monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting metrics to attain internal bank goals Work closely with departments, vendors and third parties to: Complete due diligence Structure programs Negotiate contracts Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change; manage the process of innovative change effectively Successfully and strategically lead implementation teams and efforts Effectively manage projects, apply bank methodology, enforce standards and bank policies, minimize exposure to risk and ensure completion and accurate storage of finished projects Provide professional guidance to assist coworkers in career and leadership development; inspire coworkers to attain goals and pursue excellence Participate in development opportunities including training Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Proven expertise in business development, strategic partnerships, sales, or acquisitions Entrepreneurial spirit and attitude; creative in coming up with data driven decisions Ability to present to key stakeholders in a confident and concise manner Assertive self-starter, with exceptional professional verbal/written skills, who is highly organized and able to work independently to finish assigned projects Efficient and very well organized Exceptional people-management and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well in a team or individually Banking or financial services experience, a plus Job Posted by ApplicantPro
