Primary Functions: Demonstrates leadership in managing Computed Tomography (CT) program and promotes quality instruction. S/he assists in recruitment and mentoring of students. Minimum Qualifications: An earned Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology; Current NYS RT License; Current Certification and registration by the ARRT in both Radiography(R) and Computed Tomography(CT), evidence of at least two-year of experience in CT and a strong commitment to Radiologic Technology (and domain of specialty) as a profession. Previous teaching experience is desirable. Job Specific Competencies : Demonstrates leadership in managing a CT program and promotes quality instruction Excellent written verbal and written communication skills Has working knowledge of Computed Tomography curriculum design Essential Job Functions : Manages the operations of the Computed Tomography program Problem solves Serves as resource person as needed Maintains accurate student records Maintains current knowledge in the discipline of Radiologic Technology (Computed Tomography) Position Specifications and Working Conditions: The physical demands and the work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
