Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent - Some technical education preferred Some working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Demonstrate knowledge of computer driven equipment Ability to lift 50 pounds Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical processing errors Some experience working with a CNC router preferred Some knowledge of VCarve Pro or similar CNC router software preferred Some experience working with Optical Comparators preferred Basic computer skills Excellent Communication Skills Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision Must be detail oriented within a fast-paced environment Must be willing to take on new tasks and a changing environment Ability to meet or exceed deadlines Experience working in conformance with a quality system Dependable Job Description: Perform daily preventive maintenance and safety checks on shop equipment Read and interpret Engineering drawings Set up and operate CNC router, Optical Comparator, Rivet Press, as well as other shop equipment in order to maintain a rigorous production schedule Must learn how to setup and operate new machinery as it is added Setup and operate software for all machines Assist Engineering department with creation, review, and revision of manufacturing data Research and recommend solutions to emergent manufacturing problems Must be able to work overtime and weekends as necessary Control material in accordance with the quality management system Attend and support machine shop related meetings and speak to the status of jobs in the schedule Maintain a clean work environment Other tasks as assigned Job Posted by ApplicantPro
