Edge Technologies is a dominant player in the magazine bar feeder segment of the machine tool industry. Magazine bar feeders are a tool of automation for CNC lathes that automate the loading and feeding of bar stock into the lathe. The successful candidate must be an accomplished writer and have an affinity for machines, mechanics, and manufacturing in general. Working as a team with the Marketing Manager and the Edge Technologies Sales team, assist with the planning, development, and implementation of the Edge Marketing Department's goals. Become familiar with and master pertinent applications in the company's full-stack digital marketing efforts. Create print media and sales materials, as well as contribute to other brand building activities like trade shows, open houses, and data analysis. REQUIREMENTS For this position the candidate must have a Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or in a related field and at least five years of experience in marketing, preferable with a manufacturing related company. Proven working knowledge with the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, In Design, and Illustrator is also required. The employee should have a good working knowledge of the main social media platforms, namely LinkedIn and Twitter, and should know how to leverage them as a part of the company's marketing strategy. This position requires excellent writing skills and the ability to transfer those skills to generating effective copy on the company's technical product line. Experience with photography and basic video production is a plus. DUTIES Assist in conceiving and creating web site content. Analyze and report on website data and analytics. Create posts and engage with the industry in growing Edge Technologies' LinkedIn, and other social media presence. Promote Edge Technologies on a weekly and/or monthly promotional calendar on various social media websites. Assist with the design and execution of social media ad campaigns and other digital marketing. Compile and analyze data from the USMTO site and the EDA data into standard quarterly and annual reports. Assist in creating company sales materials as needed. Support the company's Regional Salesmen as needed. Assist in the selection and procurement of Edge merchandise. Contribute to photographing Edge Technologies events, both company and business related. Assist in creating quarterly or semi-annual company newsletter.
