Pathway Caring for Children offers caring, innovative, and confidential mental health services to children and families currently through telehealth and in-person appointments. As a member of the Pathway team, you will have the opportunity to be a part of an organization that provides emotional and behavioral health services to help children, teens and families successfully meet life's challenges; a flexible environment aimed at positive impact by helping to remove or reduce barriers to health, hope and happiness; a collaborative network of therapists, case managers, community partners and other mental health professionals working toward a common goal; a unique opportunity for the right individual who desires to be part of an innovative therapeutic mental health program. The ideal candidate will fullfill this full-time opportunity utilizing a Trauma Competent approach to provide: Individual and Family Therapy, Diagnostic/Mental Health Assessment, Group Therapy. Populations served may range from early childhood to transition-aged adolescent and young adults with a wide range of diagnoses and presenting problems. Experience and skills, or willingness to obtain skills, in working with a variety of populations; Ability to engage a wide range of clients and families from diverse populations; Ability to work effectively with other professionals both within and outside the mental health profession; Experience and skills, or willingness to obtain skills, in applicable modalities and interventions, including, but not limited to, evidenced-based /evidenced-informed practices; Must demonstrate cultural competence and humility in respect to the diverse perspectives and experiences of clients, families and the community; Willingness to provide therapeutic services via videoconferencing and/or telephone and in-person. The successful applicant for this position should have a Master's Degree and appropriate licensure by the State of Ohio to provide Behavioral Health Counseling and Therapy services (LISW, LPCC, LSW or LPC preferred) or a BSW, at least six month's experience working with children; a demonstrated ability to work well with many different types of people; possess a valid driver's license, a good driving record, automotive liability insurance, and a car which is safely maintained.
