The Rebar Shear Operator will work in our reinforcing bar operation. SCHEDULE, PAY AND BENEFITS OF THE REBAR SHEAR OPERATOR Typical Schedule: 8 hour shift, days (6:00 am - 2:30 pm), Monday through Friday. ABOUT THE REBAR SHEAR OPERATOR As a Rebar Shear Operator , you will perform a variety of simple to moderately complex material handling and machine operator duties, involving the shearing and unloading of rebar. Some of your duties will include shearing rebar, cleaning out sheared rebar. You will contribute to the success of our team and the company by assisting with tracking production in the shop, and helping other operators at their machines as needed. You will work to maintain a clean and safe work environment and perform preventative maintenance on the machines to ensure strong production. You will use your excellent time management skills to produce quality work and meet deadlines. Please see the attached job description for additional information. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU We are looking for someone with a positive attitude to work with our team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will need to have at least one year of relevant experience. Strong work ethic and ability to work independently Ability to follow directions and work well in a team. High School Diploma or equivalent This is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work in a heavy manufacturing facility with various safety hazards which are potentially life-threatening to the employee and Team Members without proper safety precautions. This position may require working at heights, in confined spaces, around heavy equipment, and under constantly changing circumstances. This position may also entail project site work at night and on weekends on an as needed basis. Team Members will be subject to more stringent drug testing and compliance policies due to these safety risks.
