WORK SCHEDULE FOR A THERAPIST Outpatient offices are open for counseling typically from 6:00am to 9:00pm on some evenings depending upon the needs of the patients. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A THERAPIST As a t herapist working in our Outpatient treatment programs, you interview patients, coordinate assessments, and prepare a narrative summary/bio including problem areas, patient strengths, treatment recommendations and diagnosis. Therapists recommend level of care for chemical dependency treatment and mental health treatment. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A THERAPIST Master's Degree and Ohio licensure (LPC/LPCC, LSW/LISW) or Bachelor's Degree and Ohio Licensure (LSW) Competency or training in chemical dependency treatment Interns welcomed to apply as we will also consider Counseling/Social Work students close to graduation.
