PDM & Engineering Systems Administrator SUMMARY: FNA Group is a family-owned, world class manufacturer of pressure washers and other outdoor power equipment. We are currently seeking a PDM & Engineering Systems Administrator who is energetic, can multi-task and problem solve, and has the drive and motivation to learn and grow in a fast-paced setting in an expanding business. Primary Purpose: The PDM & Engineering Systems Administrator is directly responsible for recommending, implementation, training, maintenance and oversight of systems such as SolidWorks, PDM and associated applications. The PDM & Engineering Systems Administrator is an expert in SolidWorks modeling (including sheet metal) and can train others to produce the highest quality of work. The PDM & Engineering Systems Administrator has good knowledge of ERP systems, manufacturing routings and work orders and can implement processes and systems to support them. The PDM & Engineering Systems Administrator is responsible for leading, developing and implementing process improvements relative to engineering data and related systems. Essential Duties: Administration of PDM, taking appropriate actions to ensure data is correct, properly reviewed and organized as well as maintaining, updating and creating PDM workflows to meet company needs. Develops and implements the needed tools and systems to capture and deliver data using PDM. This includes the interaction between PDM and other business systems such as ERP. Works with process partners and outside business consultants to ensure engineering data is available and properly formatted for use in new or existing applications outside of PDM. Drives continuous improvement of engineering processes and systems. Provides training to personnel on topics related to SolidWorks, PDM and drafting standards. Create documentation to support the proper use of engineering systems. Oversight of software licenses for engineering programs. Maintain knowledge of engineering software and hardware trends and make recommendations. Other tasks assigned by upper management. Qualifications: Expert with SolidWorks PDM as a user and administrator. Expert with SolidWorks 3D modeling and detailing including SolidWorks Sheet Metal. Strong working knowledge of ERP (Sage 500 is a plus) and the creation and maintenance of manufacturing routings and item master data. History of process improvements. Demonstrated leadership abilities. Ability to work in a fast paced environment of constant change. Knowledge of CAM and associated interaction with PDM and SolidWorks. Self-directed individual who works well within a team environment. Ability to create/program applications is a plus. Education and Experience: Technical degree in mechanical design (Engineering preferred). SolidWorks certification preferred. 5+ years of SolidWorks and PDM experience. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
