State Tested Nursing Assistant - Weekend Warrior Full-Time Nights *** $21.50/hr to $23.30/hr Based on Experience *** $1/hr Weekend Shift Differential for Sat. & Sun. Department: Health Care Center - Skilled Nursing Current Opportunities Include: Full-Time Nights (6pm - 6am), working 36 hours per week We seek caring team members willing and able to commit to Our Values: Compassion, Attitude of Excellence, Respect, Integrity, Nurturing and Giving . The STNA: State Tested Nursing Assistant supports our mission and values by performing daily duties of resident care, per job standards, as directed by the Team Leader in accordance with prescribed procedures and policies, to ensure that quality nursing services are provided at all times. The STNA: State Tested Nursing Assistant's primary responsibilities include: Record all pertinent information in residents record. Examples being: EMR's, Restorative Care, Food Intake records, behavior notes and other written documents. Protect and maintain all work areas in accordance with facility safety policies. Perform daily tasks in accordance with infection control and standard precaution policies and procedures. Ambulate residents in accordance with individual plans of care. Prepare, assist and transport residents to and from meals, activities and therapy sessions. Assist, supervise and feed residents at meal time. Bathe residents in accordance with plans of care. Assist residents with dressing and undressing. Combs hair, shaves and applies appropriate appliances for residents. Perform and assist with passive, active ROM exercises, and Restorative Programs Passes fresh ice and water, extra fluids and AM or HS nourishments. Takes and records weight, temperatures, fluid intake and output, vital signs and other pertinent data. Checks that bed pans, urinals, and collection hats are stored according to facility policies. Participates in facility committees giving input including QA/PI. Performs all other duties according to STNA certification. What is required in this position? Must be registered as a State Tested Nursing Assistant Work permit required if under 18 years of age What makes Brethren Care Village unique?
