Gateway- Behavior Support Specialist How you can help: Support individuals diagnosed with an intellectual or developmental disability in a day program setting. Assist with behavioral skills development, basic living skills, socialization skills and integrating them into the community. You will t each, learn and interact with our persons served to help them reach their potential by utilizing positive behavior supports. Perform or assist individuals served with personal hygiene and basic domestic duties What we can do for you: (AKA: Benefits) Paid on-the-job training Hiring Bonus Internal Promotions Assistance with CNA/CMA training & Tuition Reimbursement Flexible Schedules $ Paid Referral Bonuses $ Discounted YMCA Memberships 7 things you NEED to Know: (AKA: Requirements) Must have High School Diploma, GED, or Work-Keys Bronze Certificate Be at least 17 years old Valid Driver's License for at least 2 years with a good driving record. Pass drug and alcohol screenings Pass criminal background checks Must be available for 2-4 weeks of PAID training, M-F 8:30am-5:00pm. ASL (American Sign Language) preferred Please see below for more schedule and pay information: Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour Operation hours for the Gateway program are M-F 8:00am-4:30pm. In this position, you have the opportunity to select which days you are available! You must work a minimum of 20 hours per month or 30 hours over two consecutive months.
