Join our Team! Bonus up to $1,500 payable upon completion of a 30-Working day, 90-Working Day Probationary Period, and 6 months employment. Salary Range: $21.04-$27.21 SUMMARY: Maintain and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, electrical controls, motor controls, robotics, PLC and conveyor systems. Maximize efficiency of equipment, assist plant operations by solving problems to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality, and reduce waste in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain equipment by using tools, techniques, knowledge, and ability in a timely manner. Improve processes. Satisfy customers. Understand basic electronic and electrical principles the ability to troubleshoot to determine problems and make repairs. The desire to Learn new procedures and methods. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One to two years' position related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, statistical correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence in English Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, other employees of TreeTop. Ability to communicate effectively in English. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs. TECHNOLOGICAL REQUIREMENTS: GMP-training and understanding of standards. HAZCOM/HAZCAT training. SDS. Computer - Basic Knowledge and use. Must learn and use CMMS and Operating Systems Programs as required. OTHER REQUIREMENTS Follow and understand equipment programs on the touch screen. Learn CMMS program to do work orders and all PM'S Use Email Fill out shift reports PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for working on equipment, distance vision for looking at overhead equipment, color vision for color coding--wire, steam lines, etc., peripheral vision to see forklift traffic and to view the process, depth perception for making repairs and working on ladders, and the ability to adjust focus for seeing overhead equipment and working on machinery. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is/or could be exposed to: Extreme heat, moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, electrical shock, high precarious positions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, all weather conditions, vibrations, and loud noise. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. All of the following are to be performed while adhering to Tree Top operational policies, safety rules, procedures and good manufacturing practices. It is the responsibility of every employee at Tree Top Inc. to report food safety and food quality problems or risks to personnel with the authority to initiate action against these said possible risks. Maintain and Monitor Equipment Identify mechanical problems Troubleshoot problems Repair equipment as required Anticipate job needs: gather parts Rebuild equipment Assist other mechanics Follow safety procedures Make recommendation if it is necessary to shutdown Perform repairs in a timely manner Monitor changes and improvements to ensure proper operation Collect technical data Ensure parts availability for special projects Perform Routine and Preventative Maintenance Clean equipment as needed Lubricate equipment Respond to specific tasks and projects in a timely manner Gather tools to do the job Inspect equipment for problems and possible improvements Adjust equipment Document findings during preventative maintenance Improve PM process Communicate: Receive instructions from supervisor Communicate with mechanics, co-workers, and next shift personnel Complete shift reports daily Talk to technicians and co-workers regarding machine operating efficiencies Recommend improvements to supervisor Train new team members as required Complete Assigned Work Orders in a timely manner. Use CMMS Program daily as required. Maintain Pride in Workmanship: Produce quality workmanship in a professional manner Maintain a positive attitude Set a positive example for co-workers Provide a neat appearance: personal and plant Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Area: Follow LOTO (lock out/ tag out) procedures when necessary Remove all tools and equipment when finished Pick up debris Sweep work area Maintains area of responsibility to meet GMP standards Observe Confined Space Entry Procedures. Observe Hot Work Permit Procedures.
