Embroidery Machine Operator- Night Shift

BRINGING ART + GARMENTS TO LIFE. THE OPPORTUNITY: Under the direction of the Production Supervisor and Trainer, this position is responsible for transferring a design onto garments using a screenprint or embroidery machine. As an operator, you will be responsible for processing orders through preparing garments, programming machine for the design and making quality adjustments as necessary, as well as helping to analyze order to identify design and determine ink colors or threads. Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 4 pm - 2 am A Typical Day (job functions) | Unload + Operate + Analyze + Verify + Repeat Access order specifications through computer programs Maintain Lakeshirts' acceptable standard of quality per garment Keep work area clean and orderly Organize workflow Follows safety practices. Identifies problems and works to resolve safety issues as they occur in accordance to OSHA standards Works actively with others to get the job done Other duties as assigned EMBROIDERY: Analyze orders to identify design and determine thread colors Change embroidery machine threads, including threading needles Attach hoops to the garments Operate embroidery machine computer and laser machine Verify quality of clothing and embroidery or applique Skills (qualifications) | Self-Motivated + Detail-Oriented + TEAM Player High school education desirable, but not required Tablet or computer experience preferred Ability to work well in a team Detail oriented and self-motivated Must be reliable, responsible and take direction well Must be able to perform repetitive tasks for several hours Ability to be stand for 8-10 hours a day Previous production experience preferred, but not required OUR CULTURE IS ONE-OF-A-KIND AND TRULY SETS US APART .
