Quality Systems and Data Engineer

Job Summary: The Quality Systems and Data Engineer will manage the Quality Management System (QMS) Database, analyze quality trends, maintain the QMS documentation and the ISO-9001 certifications; including coordinating ISO-9001 audits, and other quality system maintenance needs as they arise. Supervisory Responsibilities: none Duties/Responsibilities: Oversees and manages the eQMS (electronic Quality Management System) database, extracts data; creates reports, forms, workflows and processes for the organization. Evaluates QMS software to determine adequacy for the business as it grows and compatibility with other software in the organization. Reviews product quality data trends and brings information to the attention of the production and engineering teams to address. Recommends solutions, improvements and facilitates improvement projects as needed. Serves as the point person for QMS data collection and use. Reviews processes and systems against ISO 9001:2015 requirements and adjusts documentation and processes to ensure alignment. Coordinates Annual ISO-9001 Audits, responds to findings and ensures certification is maintained. Facilitates Quality Improvement Projects (CAPAs, PDCAs, RCA, RMAs) as needed. Work with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving the quality of the products. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Significant experience with database maintenance and administration including SQL or similar query languages. Experience with Master Control or other eQMS software, creating datasets, queries, reports, forms, workflows, etc. Lead and encourage collaboration within teams and across departments. Displays ethical conduct. ISO-9001 Audit Experience and Internal Audit Experience. Experience with CAPA, PDCA, RCA, Six Sigma, and other quality tools. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with internal and external customers, assessing needs and creating reports and processes that support their needs for quality data. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite . Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. ASQ Certifications, CQE, CQA, CSSGB preferred . Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in engineering or scientific field required. Three years of related experience required. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
