A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN As a Maintenance Technician, you arrive each day armed with energy, wit, and the willingness to pitch in with the team. As you are the one who tests the operation of the machinery and equipment used to make the propane tanks we sell, you are critical to our success. You will be responsible for ensuring proper operation of the machinery and equipment, diagnosing malfunctions, and repairing/replacing defective equipment parts. Always attentive to detail, you inspect the machinery and equipment and ensure all are functioning. You consistently assess the accuracy and neatness of all assigned work. In addition to producing exemplary products, you also maintain shop safety by carefully operating heavy equipment and power tools. You keep your work area cleaned, organized, and well-stocked so that the highest levels of efficiency are reached. You document work performed and report any malfunctions. Additionally, you test and troubleshoot products to minimize any problems. As needed, you confer with management and make alterations and updates to the machinery. You enjoy coming to work each day because you are never bored in this exciting, fast-paced environment! QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN High school diploma or equivalent Ability to take machines and equipment apart and reassemble correctly Ability to read and understand repair manuals or parts catalogs Ability to lift 50+ pounds Experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred Are you mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills? Can you work with confidence in a fast-paced setting? Do you communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally? Are you organized with an eye for details?
