We now have a national presence with current projects over $500M, spanning coast to coast, as well as internationally in the Caribbean. We are a full-service Design-Build company offering management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations' team members who work on location for each of our projects. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus in the Department of Defense (DoD) market. Our Mechanical/Plumbing Division has seen explosive growth in this last year and we are looking to grow our capabilities by prefabricating our own work across the Southeast area of the United States. As such, we are looking for a Mechanical Prefabrication Manager to join our team located in the Jacksonville, NC area. Contracted work is currently located in North Carolina, Virginia, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, and growing. This position is responsible for the daily supervision, direction, and coordination of all mechanical prefabrication activities, to produce quality work, within project requirements, targeted budget, schedule, and in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. Local candidates (to the greater Jacksonville, NC area) will be given priority, though relocation will be considered. Travel to on-site locations on base installations may be required for this position. Qualifications include: A GED or high school diploma is the minimum formal education required for this position. A combined total of 15+ years in the mechanical industry with 10 or more years work experience as a shop manager (including sheet metal, plumbing, and pipefitting ) required. Experience in managing design for mechanical and plumbing systems highly desirable. Work in the design-build government, military, or large commercial construction industry is preferred. Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, etc.) required. Specific software literacy (Adobe, Teams, etc.) preferred. Specific software literacy (BIM-Revit, Navisworks) preferred.
