Process Technician

Description:
We are looking to hire an experienced Process Technician to oversee our manufacturing processes. As a Process Technician, you will be working in a manufacturing team on the factory floor where you will monitor and adjust processes, test batch quality working with our Quality Department, maintain equipment logbooks, ensure the area is clean, report any machine faults to your supervisor, and submit maintenance job tickets.To ensure success, you should have above average observation skills, experience with industrial equipment design, and the ability to stand for long periods.The Process Technician must be able to identify repeating faults and suggest manufacturing improvements to increase production throughput. Responsibilities Gaining a thorough understanding of our processes Identifying and monitoring production machine parameters Monitoring and testing product/batch quality Ensuring production processes run smoothly and efficiently; focusing on continuous improvement Identifying machine faults and production rate errors Maintaining production logbooks Reporting faults and breakdowns to supervisors and engineers Maintaining a clean and safe production area Ensuring all Team Members and the Process Technician adhere to safety protocols Follow all procedures regarding equipment adjustment, maintenance and tooling changeovers Identifying areas of production that can be improved or increased Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum High school diploma or GED Technical AS degree is a plus 3+ years' experience as a process technician in a high-speed throughput industry Excellent analytical and observational skills Sound knowledge of industrial machines and mechanical processes Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite This is a 24-hour operation.
