Questions before applying? 785-966-XXXX SUMMARY: The Tribal Juvenile Intake Officer will conduct assessments of tribal youth to determine if they are in need of assistance under police protective custody (PPC), child in need of care (CINC), and disciplinary measures for Juvenile Offender (JO). and related grant(s) and maintains the Nation's public sex offender registry website. This position also leads the overall grant efforts to make the grant process work effectively and efficiently. To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED One to two years of related experience Must have a valid Kansas driver's license free of occupational restrictions and be insurable with the Nation's insurance. Ability to multi-task. Ability to operate general office equipment. Must be reliable, punctual, and dependable in order to meet the needs of the department and Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. Must possess professional work ethics, manner, and appearance. High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situation and documentation. Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality. Must possess ability to communicate professionally; both orally and in writing a service-orientated approach, sometimes in stressful circumstances. Must possess strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines with very little supervision.
