Barkaritaville Pet Resort of San Antonio, TX is looking to hire a full-time Pet Groomer to provide 5-star salon services that get people talking and tails wagging. This is a W-2 commission-based position with negotiable terms. You will have the choice to choose commission or an hourly rate for 60 days. Over a decade ago, our business was founded in our first location to provide a home-like, and fun environment for dogs and cats. We offer lodging, grooming, daycare, and training. We are locally owned and managed with 25+ years of experience in the pet industry. Whether for a day or a whole vacation, each pet's stay is tailored to their needs and preferences. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PET GROOMER As a Dog Groomer, you ensure that each pet enjoys clean, healthy skin and fur and that the cut is done according to breed standards and client preferences. Cheerfully, you greet pet parents and their pets as they enter the resort. You perform standard grooming services such as brushing, de-matting, de-shedding, conditioning, ear cleanings, nail trims, specialized breed cuts, and mixed-breed styles. As needed, you also perform special requests and help pet parents identify solutions to their pet's unique needs. While you prepare, bathe, and finish animals, you promote a safe and positive grooming experience for all with your calm demeanor and use of best practices. Always cleaning up after dogs, you maintain a clean and sanitary environment. You keep accurate and up-to-date grooming records in our computer software system. The trusting relationships that you build with clients and their pets help our company to grow and thrive. Be proficient in handling all types of dogs Be able to lift 40 pounds Feline Grooming experience a plus Are you dependable and punctual?
