As the Logistics Support Specialist you will be (but not limited to): Data entry for new vendor set up, rental contracts, equipment set up, inbound/outbound process and other logistics as requested by Fleet Manager. Be fluent with billing, following all processes that have been set in place by our accounting department. Ensure that equipment is compliant with all regulatory matters, including DOT, OSHA, and licensing bureaus. Work closely with other Fleet and Asset Management Department employees in the coordination of their functions for yard organization, equipment deliveries, and all administrative functions required to properly track equipment costs. Follow the directives of the Fleet Manager or Warehouse supervisor for reoccurring duties to ensure excellent yard and warehouse housekeeping conditions. As directed by the Fleet Manager or Warehouse/Yard Supervisor, assist with warehousing and tooling activities such as receipt of materials. Maintains cooperative working relationships with all Utility Supply and Construction Company employees. This includes "inter" and "intra" departmental employees. Also included are all customers, contractors, owners, and suppliers. Ensure your availability to respond to Storm or Emergency work that may occur from time to time for proper support of customer's needs. Ensure their personal safety and well-being by following all safety policies, rules, and regulations of The Hydaker-Wheatlake Company. Performs any other related or unrelated, unassigned, unspecified, unusual or special duty the Fleet Manager may assign from time to time. Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a construction equipment related environment is preferred but similar experience will be considered. Entry level position, however, previous work history a plus, and references required. Commercial Driver Licenses and previous Fork Truck experience a plus. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
