Quantum Pain and Orthopedic is looking to hire a Full-Time Radiology Technologist to join our team in San Antonio, TX ! This candidate will be responsible for accurately positioning patients and ensuring that a quality diagnostic image is produced. Working closely with radiologists and physicians, this candidate will also operate X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment under the direction of the Medical Director. Responsibilities: Set up and operate radiographic equipment used in the medical diagnosis and/or treatment of patients Positions patient and set up and adjust equipment to obtain the best quality x-ray of the specific body area requested by the physician Takes preventative steps to minimize radiation exposure to the patient and fellow staff Adjusts and sets radiographic controls to prescribed specifications for proper timing of exposure Implements infection control procedures for the work area Performs other duties as assigned as per discretion of medical provider and facility Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Associates Degree in Radiology Studies Licensed by the Medical State Board of Texas as a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) or Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Benefits Offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance 401(k) with employer contribution Paid Time Off + Paid Holidays Please visit our website for additional information: quantumpainortho.com Job Posted by ApplicantPro
