Quince Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, LLC is seeking an MDS Coordinator Registered Nurse. Quince Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, LLC proudly serves our community's long-term care and rehabilitation needs. We offer services such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and dementia/Alzheimer's care. Our goal is to provide this dignified care to all of our residents in a well maintained, home-like environment. The MDS Coordinator Registered Nurse position is to coordinate, record, update and monitor all Minimum Data Set documentation for each Medicare patient as required by state regulations and other appropriate authorities. Full-time position with competitive wages and excellent benefit package.QUALIFICATIONS for MDS Coordinator Registered NurseSUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS:1.A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and currently licensed as a Nurse in the State is required.2.Previous work experience in a long term care setting. Supervisory experience and organizational skills in a long term care setting preferred.3.Is listed in good standing as confirmed on the State Department of Professional Credentialing.4.Possesses excellent technical assessment and documentation skills, and leadership qualities.5.Possesses good communication skills and is patient and self-disciplined.6.Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.7.Knowledge of MDS rules and regulations including item coding, RAPS, care planning, electronic submission, scheduling, and working knowledge of relationship between PPS and MDS, etc. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
