Work Location: Bradenton, FL As part of this role, you will: Calls patients to schedule surgery appointments and accurately enters new or follow-up information into the electronic medical patient information system Creates surgery packets for providers and mails confirmation letters for patient Assists with contacting vendor representatives for surgical tools required for surgery Schedules medical/cardiac clearance appointments as needed Schedules patient surgical and clearance appointments for the referred service with the indicated surgery center or hospital, providing them with authorization information, including authorization number What you need to bring to this role: High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of six months of customer service experience in a high-volume impact environment, preferably in a healthcare field Excellent customer service expertise Ability to perform well in a high-volume environment Must be flexible, resourceful and able to troubleshoot Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and set priorities Must maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all time Bilingual (Spanish / English) a plus Excellent listening and interpersonal skills Ability to effectively interact with patients/customers in stressful situations Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion **MCR Health is a drug free workplace.
