Residential Services Inc. is eagerly hiring dedicated, compassionate, and responsible Direct Support Professionals to work in our Life Options Day Program in Orange County providing support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This job is entry level and a great way to gain hands on experience in the field of health care and human services! This job is entry level and a great way to gain hands-on health care and human services experience! We provide the training and have various shifts available- daytime, evening, overnights...We even pay employees to sleep! We also pay an EXTRA $2/hour for all hours worked on the weekends ! Each DSP's job varies but the ultimate goal is to help the residents grow in their independence. A DSP working with the Life Options day program might: Help residents create locally sold crafts Supervise and assist with resident employment Help residents develop work skills or continue their education Assist residents with fitness activities Support residents as they engage in community volunteer activities No matter what you might be doing, you will be making a difference in someone's life! This position is 1st shift (7am-3pm) Monday-Friday. This job is the perfect start for people looking to gain hands on experience and grow in their knowledge of the IDD population or the medical field. You will foster unique and important connections with the individuals you care for. The job is not always easy, but is extremely rewarding. Sound like you're the right person for the job?
