Human Resources - HR Assistant What We're Looking For: We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant who provides administrative services to the HR Department, primarily focused on processing all temporary staffing and vendor invoices. The HR Assistant will assist in creating new hire and benefit packets, provides customer service to internal clients, and provide general HR support to the Human Resources Department. Work Responsibilities: Collect and organize all timesheets each week for all temporary staff Sort, organize, and create payment authorization forms for all temporary staffing and vendor invoicing within the required timelines Track and record timesheets and payment authorization forms on shared tracking reports each week. Troubleshoot, follow up and resolve all issues that would hinder payment processing for staffing invoices. Perform a monthly reconciliation of staffing invoices to identify missing invoices from staffing agencies or internal partners Assist and support the recruitment team with creating new hire, safety, and benefit packets for new hire orientation Provide backup support for HR filing and personnel files to adhere to record retention policies Serve as backup on other administrative support to HR Department as needed. Contribute to the attainment of HR department objectives. Perform other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION YOU SHOULD POSSESS: High school or equivalent GED required, Associate degree preferred. Human Resources experience equivalent to a minimum of 2 years as an HR Assistant or similar administrative support required. Human Resources Certification is highly desirable. Requires a minimum of 2 years of administrative experience and at least 1 year of experience in an HR environment. Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations. Experience implementing Human Resources processes, procedures, and programs Proficiency with HRIS systems and MS Office.
