Feuer powertrain North America: We are the US subsidiary of a German-based leading independent producer of crankshafts, "the heart of every engine." In Europe, we produce crankshafts for Mercedes-Benz, BMW, VW, Audi, Renault, Jaguar, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini and many more. In North America, we produce crankshafts for GM, Ford, Mercury and many more. We are now expanding our plant to a new 2nd line. We are located in Robinsonville, MS about 20 miles south of Memphis. We are hiring immediately. Pay - This role is an hourly role with a rate of pay of $20 per hour (annual salary equivalent $41,600) Benefits - We pay 90% of our employees' health, dental and vision insurances and 100% of life insurance and short-term disability. We have a 401k with a 5% match. We provide 2 weeks (80 hours) of PTO available after 90 days of employment. POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for facilitating the purchase of all supplies and equipment based on company needs. The Purchasing Assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to, PR/PO creation, tracking deliveries and updating order records using SAP under the direct supervision of the Purchasing Manager and in a manner that meets the Company standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order conversion Sending Purchase Orders to suppliers Track orders to ensure on-time delivery Update SAP with delivery information and other changes from suppliers BANF preparation for all un-equipped departments Assist with sourcing products and services for internal departments Follow-up on Order Confirmations Maintain Fleet Maintenance Records Assist with IT support for the Plant Maintain supplier insurance and certification logs Reconcile invoice variances Monitoring stock levels of office supplies, packaging material, etc. Assist with internal auditing documentation and compliance requirements All other duties as assigned by Purchasing Manager MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Operations Experience with SAP Previous MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) etc. High School Diploma or equivalent work-related experience FEUER powertrain North America, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
