Residential Technician - CommQuest Detox

We currently have an opening for a Residential Technician on Midnight Shift (11:00pm to 7:00am) to work at the CommQuest Detox and Recovery Unit , located at Aultman Hospital in Canton. The Residential Technician plays a crucial role in the life of our clients who are recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. Minimum pay rate of $10 per hour, more for college degree and/or CDCA certification. This is a part-time position of approximately 32 hours per week. Job Duties include: Day to day assistance with and supervision of clients. Ensure the comfort, safety, and security of all clients and visitors. Works in partnership with Director, clinical staff, and other residential staff. Plans and assists with recreational and educational activities. Redirects clients, as necessary. All other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Must demonstrate compassion and care for clients who are suffering from addiction at all times. Previous knowledge of HIPAA laws and a passion for helping people is required. Individuals in recovery who are interested in helping give back to the community must have at minimum a year or more of sobriety and practice firm boundaries with clients. Must have a valid Ohio driver's license, proof of auto insurance and a driving record in accordance with agency standards Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and BCI/FBI background check. This position is currently only available to internal CommQuest employees. CommQuest Detox staff will be given first consideration. Current shift need: CommQuest Detox Midnight Shift (11:00pm to 7:00am) part time only (approximately 32 hours per week) MUST have availability to work weekends and holidays !!!!!
