Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Description:
This individual will issue or move materials for manufacturing order (MO's) and other time sensitive raw material requests to the manufacturing and development groups; move materials and product to designated staging areas as needed; perform the movement of incoming materials from receiving to quarantine and warehouse areas as needed; assist cycle counts of raw materials; investigate raw material cycle count results and discrepancies by interacting with various departments to resolve inventory issues; assist in coordinating the movement and storage of expired, scrapped or HOLD material to their designated storage area. They will continually demonstrate an understanding of cGMP by performing responsibilities in accordance with FDA regulations. Requirements: High school diploma with 1-3 years of warehouse experience. Experience with picking inventory via ERP systems and scanners required. FDA regulated industry experience, Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) training and forklift certification preferred. Demonstrated ability to comprehend and follow written operating procedures; strong attention to detail; ability to lift a minimum of fifty pounds and remain standing most of the work shift; basic competency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
