Tool Room Manager Hours: 8am - 4:30pm, M-F Onsite Willingness to work OT as needed Company Overview: One of Wulco Inc's four divisions, Rocket Supply, has been an industrial Distributor since 1977. We serve our customers by bringing innovative products and going above and beyond our customers' needs. We specialize in cutting tools but have a strong supply chain for products in an abrasive, safety, electrical, welding, maintenance, and janitorial environment.Responsibilities: Assisting in daily transactions from the crib Speaking with operators on current and future jobs in the shop Entering replenishment orders for the shop through company ERP system. Organizing, receiving, and stocking the crib Making sure spot buys get to the proper operator. Monitor inventory stock levels and returning dead inventory Maintain inspection gages equipment in company software Reviewing top spend items looking for cost savings Working with suppliers on cost savings initiatives Setting inventory levels on new programs Skills: 1 year minimum preferred in a manufacturing environment Knowledge and understanding of tooling and how it is used Understanding of Microsoft Office and math skills 5s training and strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Familiar with safety standards and PPE utilized in a manufacturing setting Problem solving skills Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Willingness to work on average 40-50 per week Benefits Full healthcare benefits on day 1, including a free medical insurance option Dental Vision STD Company paid LTD Company paid basic life insurance PTO accrual program Paid holidays Optional OT Employee referral program Retirement benefits w/ a company match Temperature controlled environment and MORE!
