School Summary: Pacifica Christian High School is a private college prep Liberal Arts High School located in Newport Beach, CA. We provide a rigorous, college-preparatory, liberal arts education for students from all backgrounds and neighborhoods . Specifically to Athletics, we do this by creating a program that balances participation, competitive and non-competitive success, individual player development, and an overall positive experience. With the intention of helping create the individual that God intends. Job Summary: Pacifica Christian High School is seeking a Founding Director of Boys & Girls Tennis for the 2023-2024 school year. The Director of Boys & Girls Tennis develops, organizes, coordinates, and promotes a well-rounded, comprehensive athletic program. They accomplish this by demonstrating knowledge, dedication, experience, and an ability to teach the skills and techniques according to their program. The Director of Boys & Girls Tennis must have the ability to teach student-athletes sportsmanship, responsibility, discipline, teamwork, commitment, and integrity while keeping true to Pacifica Christian's mission of "Thinking & Living Well." We believe a primary purpose of an interscholastic athletic program is to educate youth and assist in developing their character. We feel that athletics plays a major role in the educational process of a student-athlete. NOTE: Pacifica Christian currently offers Girl's Tennis, who were the 2022 CIF-SS Division 4 Runner-Ups. This position would oversee and Coach our Girl's Tennis program and be the Founding Head Coach for the Boy's Tennis program, to be launched during the 2024 Spring High School Season.
